A little about this look-a-like.
A pedigree Greek, this 6 foot 4 inch 230 pound scoundrel blows away any Grecian
Myth. In other words,....he likes women,....and women like him. Take it
from me, I've been a fan of his since 1993. That's when Jimmy, or James as
I call him, started his little Han Solo gig. In college he was part of an
independent film project known as, "The Brat Pack Strikes Back." A
spoof on Star Wars, this flick required a dead-on Han outfit, which his mother
put together for him. Oh, dear old mommy!

After the production, James couldn't get enough of wearing the dashing attire.
He became infamous for tending bar is those tight pants, vest, boots, and
holster. The Brass Rail in Kansas and the Rusty Nail in Iowa were two of
the many bars which witnessed the flipping of bottles, cocktail style. In 1997
he made many appearances in full Solo garb, when the original trilogy was
released as a special edition. Front page photos in the hometown newspaper as
well as a few tactful quotes, kept people rolling for quite some time. In 1999,
James attended the Denver Celebration. He refused to leave character for
three entire days. After the dust settled, he met up with two European
gentlemen who offered him a trip to Europe in exchange for his help with a group
of costumed characters, known as the Swiss Garrison. The small group of about
20, showed up at F.A.O. Swartz toy stores all over central Europe, as well as
the European premiere of The Phantom Menace. During the course of this trip,
James made his first appearance on ET (Entertainment Tonight). His popular quote
of, "Harrison Ford eat your heart out," said with a lopsided grin,
made my knees weak.

Since then, James has laid low. But he still makes appearances from time
to time. Rumors of him attending the 2000 and 2001 San Diego Comic-Con
have flooded the west coast. Video footage of James in the Comic-Con's
masquerade, verifies the rumors. He has also been seen in the Star Wars
Insider, issues #41 and #57.

From time to time, people have spotted him driving coast to coast in his sooped
up male-jeep, with vanity plates which read,
HANSOLO
. The most recent rumor has
him stopping in Indianapolis for the second celebration. I know I'll be
there.
