The
Review (Cont) Sunday
Sunday was the "short" day of the con, but there
were a couple of interesting Clinics to check out.
There was one on Convention Costuming which was run be
several folks from the 501st Garrison and they discussed
the vacuform process, mold making and more;
Excellent presentation. The other that we caught was
the Special Effects Make Up which was also
informative. Of course the "Trailer Park"
was not to be missed...trailers for movies like X-Men 2,
Matrix Reloaded, The Hulk, and many more were shown.
Everyone did a little costume change for Sunday and went
as famous adventurers; Indiana Jones, Lara Croft and Abbey
Chase from Danger Girl. The girls had fun squaring
off and then making friends.

| After what I
consider to be a fun convention, the day came to a
close. So in closing, I have this to say when
reviewing this con...definitely smaller than last year
with less Guest, big names, and programming. A
smaller convention overall, but with some noticeable
improvements over past years. The "energy"
was good and I would say that under the new ownership,
this convention has a lot of potential. I look
forward to seeing what next year has to offer. |
