Hi!
My name is Annie. I've been a
look-a-like ever since I was 14 years old, and since then I've loved dressing up
as Lara Croft. Playing the Tomb
Raider games has given me a new aspect on life, I now love to travel, and I have
a new growing fascination with history. Lara
Croft, even though fictional, has become my all time role model.
To imagine that a woman could be so smart, strong, and sexy, makes me
feel like I can too. I guess it's one of those "Girl Power" things (LoL!!).
But all joking aside, she's given me the courage to become a stronger person.
All the characters in other video games and/or movies are usually
"bimbos" and I dislike that so much. That's not all we are! Somewhere,
deep down in everyone, we can all relate to Lara, and I believe that's what
makes Tomb Raider so much popular to both genders, and I think we all know why
most guys go for Lara also!! ;)

I love music, and a wide variety also. My
favorite opera singer is Sarah Brightman:

like a lot of other artists also, ranging from rock to classical. (Like I said,
I have a wide variety of what I like). It all depends on my mood J.
(Oh yes, and that picture of Sarah Brightman, I made that! It was
originally 800x600, so technically it was my first wallpaper!)
I must say my family and friends are what come first in my life before anything. My family and I took a trip to Orlando, Fl. and went to "Islands of Adventure". We had SO much fun! I had the most fun at Jurassic Park!
And I love my friends SO much! They're so crazy! (From left to right: My friend Jim from my vocational school, and next to him, that's my friend Carrie, she also goes to my vocational school. If you think she looks familiar, that's because she was our Sailor Mercury for our COSplay group! Next is my really good buddy Chris. He's also a Tomb Raider fan like me! He's the one who got me into dressing as Lara Croft in 9th grade for Halloween. I'm so glad we're friends! He means everything to me! Then, in the next picture, that's my ultimate buddy Jon, he's really a big dork! But you just gotta love him!! If you click on the picture, it should lead to his band's website.Go to it!!! Ahahaha!
My friend Daria (from our COSplay group also) was kind enough to make a composite for me! She's too sweet!! This is what it looks like, I like it.what do you think?
I love to draw, I think I've only drawn one good picture of Lara Croft so far though (hehe), but that's because I'm mostly used to drawing Japanese animation. I would love to be a Japanese animator; I have a lot of good ideas for a movie.
I've tried to do composites in the past, but I'm no match with what the other look-a-likes do. I spend most my time on the computer messing around in Photo Shop.

Chibi Lara!!
I love video games. Video games are my life! My favorite games at the moment are Resident Evil, Tomb Raider, Parasite Eve, and Silent Hill 2. Right now I'm hooked on Silent Hill 2. I've beaten the game already, but I wanted to get the other endings as well!
Maria is my favorite character in Silent Hill 2. If you play the game and find out her true character, you'll understand why I like her. They were really smart when they created her. Maybe I'm just weird (Blushes)!
If you're wondering how in the world am I anything like Lara, then I'll answer that now. I'm really not like Lara, but in a way I am and I wish I could be. I love adventure as it may shock some, because a lot of times I come off extremely shy. I love history, and I love learning new things. It gives me a feel of completion, because then I don't feel left behind in the world and what's going on now-a-days. I share a lot of the same likings and taste that Lara has, and I wish I could have a mansion like hers when I grow up! (Ha! Like that will ever happen.but there's always hope!)
There are so many things to say I don't know where to end! But I guess I should end here so I don't bore you and take up so much space! Here are some Non-Lara photos I have taken, I hope you enjoy looking at them, as much as I enjoyed taking them!
