I enjoy Tomb Raider games because of their enchanting
environments and the freedom of movement that's so believable in a female
character. I play all the games on my Playstation, save for the gold versions
which I got for my Mac (and the GBC games that I play on a GBC). I enjoy being a
Lara Lookalike because it sort of feels like I'm playing a super-advanced video
game when I can run around these Tomb Raider-like locations and pose as Lara
Croft. I was drawn to the character originally because she was one of the first
female action hero's that had plain brown hair, brown eyes and a bit of a tan.
Before then we saw a lot of "golden blondes" and "firey
redheads" but this was a girl with average features (like mine!) that were
still very elegant and beautiful in their simplicity.
When I'm not playing the game, or taking pictures for one costume or another,
I'll probably be writing or playing ice hockey! Ice hockey is something that I
have always loved, but just recently I was able to start playing. I have managed
to advance enough so that next season (while I still qualify for a junior team)
I get to play in the first women's team for the Jr. San Jose Sharks!
